Download this year's registration form in Adobe's PDF format. Please download, fill out, include the proper remittance and have it postmarked by June 10, 2013, to be pre-registered and save time at registration. After June 10th, please register at the door.
Register by June 10, 2013, and the conference costs $50 for an individual. Your spouse is free. Save an additional $10 by being an OCEANetwork Supporting Family. That makes the conference only $40 for an individual or a couple!
After June 10, 2013, the conference fee is $60 payable at the door. (Or $50 if you become an OCEANetwork Supporting Family.) We have plenty of room this year for walk-in registration, so if you missed the June 10th deadline, don't hesitate to come to the Oregon Convention Center and register at the door.
Parents of preschool students are invited to be our guest at the 2013 Oregon Christian Home Education Conference. To attend for free:
There is no child care available. If you choose to bring your children they will cost $10 each for children ages 3-5. Babies & Toddlers (0-2) are free.
Registration for Parents of Preschoolers will open 8 a.m. April 16, 2013.Parents of Preschoolers must pre-register by June 10th for the conference. No at-the-door registration for the Parents of Preschoolers free scholarship.
Young Adults (13 and older) are invited to attend the conference with their parents. We've arranged for special classes of interest to young adults attending the conference. Registration for teens cost $10 each. Young adults 13+ may also attend the Used Curriculum Exchange with their parents if they wish.
Nursing infants and toddlers (0 - 2) may attend with their mother at no charge. You are welcome in the sessions during those times your baby is quiet, but we ask that you leave when the infant is noisy so that others may hear the session clearly. For their own protection, infants are only allowed in the Used Curriculum Exchange if they are in a front pack. No strollers, backpacks or other conveyences are allowed. If you plan to shop in the Used Curriculum Exchange, please make alternative care arrangements for your children who do not fit in front packs. (Have dad, grandparent or friend watch them while you are shopping.)
OCEANetwork is using a public building with several other events occurring at the same time. OCEANetwork will not be responsible for unattended youth. You must keep your children ages 0 - 12 with you at all times.
Grandparents can be a home school family’s greatest ally! To help them see a bigger picture of home education, we invite you to bring your children’s grandparents to the conference. Give them the opportunity to see the hope for the coming generations, rub shoulders with home-educated young people, and hear from some of the best homeschool advocates in the nation.
Grandparents can register for $10 each when registering on the same form as your family. This applies only to grandparents of children being home educated by their parents. It does not apply to grandparents who are home educating their own children or their grandchildren. We believe the curriculum hall and the conference work together to equip you for the upcoming school year. Therefore, we encourage you to register for the whole conference to obtain the best preparation for next year.
However, we realize there are some who prefer to attend the Exhibit Hall only. Therefore, we will be offering Exhibit Hall Only passes this year for $10 each person ages 13+ ($5 for children 3 - 12). (Children ages 3 - 12 are not allowed in the Used Curriculum Exchange.)
The Exhibit Hall Only pass includes
Individuals with an Exhibit Hall Only Pass will not be able to attend any conference workshops,or keynote sessions at the conference. If you find you would like to attend the entire conference, you may apply your Exhibit Hall Only fees toward walk-in conference registration.
Exhibit Hall Only Passes must be purchased at the door. They go on sale starting at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 21, and will be available for purchase throughout the conference. Used Curriculum Exhibition shopping times for those purchasing Exhibit Hall Only Passes will be after families who pre-registered for the entire conference.
