Marcia Davis homeschooled her children with unique learning needs for 13 years, and has been participating in the Oceanetwork Conferences for many years. Searching for answers and options for them led to her getting various specialized training and education, and soon, besides making a difference with her own children, she was branching out by helping other homeschoolers and others in the community.
Positive Learning Solutions, LLC is based in Redmond, Oregon, and offers hope for learning problems. Marcia offers professional, personalized, and caring educational interventions, assessments, & training for professionals as an Irlen Diagnostician, Structure of Intellect education therapy practitioner, and does Barton dyslexia tutoring.

Twenty-two years ago, Positive Learning Solutions began sorting out how each student and adult can do their best with: Structure of Intellect (SOI) assessment and personalized follow-up ability-strengthening exercises; visual, auditory, and sensory-balance enrichment; Dyslexia intervention; screening for Irlen light sensitivity overload that may be causing problems with focusing, visual fatigue, headaches, reading delays, or a number of other possible challenges that can interfere with learning and behavior. Whenever possible, Marcia loves to empower parents and others to learn and implement these helpful tools themselves. Robin Firth, an RN whose focus of training is helping reading problems by identifying Irlen symptoms in 1-in-6 people, will be assisting all weekend as well. So whether your children severely struggle, or simply seem to learn differently, we hope to be an encouragement to you!
