Excitement is building for Apple Pie Day, March 21, 2013.
Schedule of Events

In many ways, Apple Pie Day is like an open house for home educators at the Capitol. We have many activities scheduled for you throughout the day. We have tours of the Capitol; a choir for the children to sing in; legislative updates (which include tips on what to say to your legislators); and apple pies to deliver to the State Senators and Representatives. When you arrive, you sign up for tours and legislative briefings that fit into your schedule. The one thing we’re hoping everyone will be able to attend is the noontime rally on the Capitol steps.

Make sure you make appointments with your legislators. Find their contact information here .  Legislators love to meet people from their district – especially whole families. And talking with them will be easy. You’ll have an apple pie in hand and some information about homeschooling to “break the ice.”

Many of you have been asking about the schedule so it is included below. Check out the OCEANetwork web site for more information about Apple Pie Day.

See you in Salem on Apple Pie Day.
